We are looking to recruit Residential Care Home Workers either new or experienced for our clients based in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire. If you wish to become a carer then we offer 4 days training with our own Training Department.
Utilising our transport department we are able to place our staff into care homes that either have low unemployment or poor transport networks. So we are the bridge between the two. If you have your own transport we then pay an enhanced pay rate to staff.
You will receive the following:
Excellent rates of pay:
Mon-Sun:£9.77- £10.56 per hour
All training provided by our fully qualified Head of Training over 4 consecutive days.
Transport to and from residential care homes you attend
Flexible working options such as weekdays/weekends only/Flexible weekday and weekend option
NVQ qualification opportunities
Annual refresher training (Refresher is free from year 2)
About the role:
To look after the physical, emotional, cultural and social needs of the Clients using a person centred approach
To observe and promote the Client’s choice, independence, dignity, privacy, fulfilment and other rights
To create and maintain good professional relationships with Clients, their family and friends and other stakeholders
and motivation of the Client and not foster dependent behaviour
Previous care worker experience is an advantage but not essential as full training is provided during the initial 4 day training period.
Maintain a high level of care to CQC standards.
Possess the following personal traits: Friendliness, Empathy, Open-Mindedness, Desire to learn, Positivity, Good communication, Patience, Flexibility, Attentiveness.
Willing to undertake fully paid training days.
Right to work in the UK.
Valid ID documents.
Be willing to undertake a DBS check or hold a current valid DBS (Registered Online)
Provide 2 references from previous employers.
*All mandatory training certificates (Manual Handling must be a practical certificate).
