Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker
The Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers we supply, provide care and support to service users at our clients residential care and nursing homes. The carers' prime responsibility is to ensure service users receive safe individualised care at all times.
Our temporary staff will maintain the confidentiality of all service users and always respect their rights and dignity. The aim is to promote person centered care, and take into account the personal choices and differences that make us all individuals. Our carers provide all personal care and assist with the day to day routine tasks of a busy care environment.

Compliance
It is essential that all Care Assistants / Support Workers are fully compliant before starting work with us, and remain compliant throughout their employment. Our internal Compliance Department ensure that all staff meet the legal requirements and then store all of this information in individual personnel files. The requirements that our staff must meet are as follows:
Right to work in the UK
Valid ID documents
DBS (registered to the online update service)
2 references from previous employers
All mandatory training certificates (Manual Handling must be a practical certificate)
Prior to the commencement of any shift, we will send the client a copy of the Care Assistant / Support Workers profile, detailing their DBS number and expiry date and all training dates.
Copies of this information can be made available on request, for any subsequent CQC inspections.
Our Compliance Department work with our Training Manager to arrange weekly training courses to ensure staff training is always up-to-date.
